It's been over half a year since my last journal entry.
And I haven't been back a lot. D: And I had pictures to post, too. Lazy me.

I will be better this time, I promise!

Last day of the soccer tournament was today.
Yay.
We had so few people... that there were only two people on the bench. But because of certain, err, complications, once one person and once none. The only upside of this was I got to be a starter, which is supposed to be a good thing. And more playing time.

My glasses broke the first day of the tournament. About 2 minutes into the second game.

They broke again today. About 10 minutes before the end of the second game. I was, like, 4 feet away from that girl. And she was big and scary. And her kick was hard. But by that time, my thigh hurt more than my face.

I'm going to wake up tomorrow and be sore. Ohwell. At least no soccer for three days.

Just a real short while. About two days.
Going to go up to Northern California. Six hours in a car, WOOOH. xD

Ooooh... on Sunday, I went to Los Angeles with a friend. We went to the LACMA. And then to Amoeba. And then the Buffalo Exchange up there.

Amoeba was AMAZING.
I love living in California.
Anyway.
I bought Paris (the live Cure album) for $5.99. The other ones were, like, $8.99, but this one was on sale because of the CD condition. It plays great, though.
Also, High (the single) for $1.99.
And the Boys Don't Cry poster for $10.00.
Yay.

I'm happy because my party was fun. I think I turned a new bunch of people into Edward Scissorhand-lovers. WOOOH! And we played SingStar. Which was fun, because it's always fun. Haha.

But, GAHHH, like, near the middle of the end of the party, I went on the computer and checked thecure.com and then I was like OMGOMG GAHHH. Because I MISSED The Cure on NPR. I was even at HOME when it was on, I think. WHYYYYYYY. And it was something I was excited about, too, 'cause I was like "Hey! I can actually listen on Friday!"

Onto happier things:

I got some wonderful gifts from my wonderful friends.
A black and purple scarf. YAY.
A gray shirt. That fits me!

Apple-scented body butter, shower gel, bubble bath, and bath crystals (okay, when can I actually use these bath crystals? D: ) They smell REALLY good!

$25 of one of those American Express gift card things that you can spend almost anywhere.
$25 to Barnes & Noble. YAY BOOKS.

Speaking of books, I got Slaughter House Five by Kurt Vonnegut from . Which is wonderful, because I've wanted to read it for a while. Now I must find time to read it...

And has promised to pay for my lunch the next time we eat out together.

And my other friend's gift is still on the way. xD

I also got this pair of really warm lounge socks that also came with a cute mug. ANDANDAND... the same person got me Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me the extended version thingy with the second disc of rarities. I like the music (of course!) and the booklet. (: They way I yelled/said "Omygosh! It's one of the pictures of them in dresses!" (when I saw the booklet cover) probably made me sound like I had some guys-in-dresses fetish. xD I would've been equally excited no matter what picture was on the front.

...WOW. I got A LOT of things. :00 I am VERY, VERY, VERY thankful!!

I feel kinda bad, though. Because I sent one of my friends and invitation, but I never heard back from her before the party. And, I didn't have any time to to call her or contact her in anyway, and I was hoping that she'd seen the invite and she was coming. ...but apparently she didn't. >.> GAH.



IT IS FINALLY WINTER BREAK.
YEAHHHH!!!

Okay, I should go to sleep now.

Today I turned 17.
Because it was my birthday, you see.

Seventeen on the seventeenth. It's supposed to be my "good luck" birthday, huh? It rained, just like I wanted it to! I guess that's good. And, and... I'm turning my annoying too-flared flares that I never really wear into skinny jeans. I've done one leg and it looks pretty good. So that's a good thing. I'm handsewing it, too. I'm so proud that I didn't get any weird bumps. xD And I finished my DBQ for US (but not my reading notes. But that's what open 2nd period is for!).

I'm going to have my party on Friday after school, I'm excited. xD

And, it's, like, 11:09PM right now, but I want to make cookies for my friends. Because I don't think I'll have time to pass them out on Friday, 'cause it's a minimum day.
